As we noted last month, We-the-People elected President Trump so that we can begin to fundamentally transform our country back to its original founding principles. There are several top priorities, but one of the major issues that helped decide the November presidential election was the open border and the millions of illegal aliens within our country.
We have posted a new Conversation Piece on our website –
Nearly all of these recommendations have been put forward by other conservatives over the past several years. The time has come to implement comprehensive immigration reform, to make a permanent fix to all of our country’s immigration issues. Other than some new legislation that is needed to address the process by which Legal Migrants are allowed to enter our country, we believe that most of the problems of the past several years could have been avoided simply by enforcing the laws that are currently on the books.
We need to make our voices heard and put pressure on our US Senators and Representatives in the House for an immigration system that adheres to the following principle – – There are only three categories of people who should ever be within our country’s borders. The first group is US Citizens. The second group consists of Legal Migrants who will be allowed to stay within the borders of the country (see the accompanying Conversation Piece). And the third group consists of Legal Migrants who are in the country on a temporary basis for education, temporary work, tourism or other reasons, and who have a fixed date of their departure from our country. Anyone else is, by definition, an Illegal Alien.
The Left needs to acknowledge that an Illegal Alien has committed a serious crime. We are no longer going to give credence to the Left’s mantra that “No One is Illegal,” which is simply another example of their contempt for the Rule of Law and their opposition to laws they do not accept.
Unfortunately, the past four years have resulted in a number of complex issues pertaining to the children of Illegal Aliens. In addition, we have hundreds of thousands of missing unaccompanied minor children. These issues are discussed in the accompanying Conversation Piece.
We recognize that there will be differences of opinion about these recommendations, so please feel free to hit “Reply” and send us back your comments.
Next month, we will cover Freedom of Speech, Big Tech, and Censorship.
